Join us for a tail-wagging good time at Rescue Dog Games, Atlanta’s annual Best Dog Halloween Festival, a community celebration spotlighting the joy of pet adoption and encouraging people to get outside to Play with their dogs. This family-friendly festival will feature the annual Halloween Dog Costume Contests, Dog lure chase, dog game stations, adoptable dogs from local shelters and rescues, live demonstrations, vendor booths, the Bone Bar, kids’ play area, giveaways, and more! Spend Halloween Day 2026 celebrating DOGS!

Why It Matters:

Every year, thousands of pets in our area need loving homes. This festival raises awareness about the importance of pet adoption and helps connect rescue groups with families ready to open their hearts—and homes—to a new furry friend. Come meet your next BFF and/or support the organizations.

The event also highlights the powerful, healing bond between dogs and their humans. From unconditional love to everyday companionship, dogs enrich our lives in countless ways. Creating time to play, bond, and simply be with a dog is not only joyful, it’s deeply meaningful. Rescue Dog Games gives you a fabulous day of play with your dog and show off your creative costumes!

Free to attend. Friendly, leashed dogs are all welcome.
